Washington, DC – April 6, 2009 – Thomas Mills Communications, an industry leader in political communications and direct mail, was honored with three prestigious Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants and Public Affairs Professionals for direct mail produced during the 2008 election cycle. The award was presented at the 18th annual AAPC Pollie Awards and Conference in Washington, DC on March 29.

Hosted by the America Association of Political Consultants (AAPC), the awards recognize “the best of the best” in political communication. “We are very pleased and proud to have received these awards during our first year as a company,” said Thomas Mills. “We would especially like to thank SEIU for giving us the opportunity to make a difference in the country’s closest governor’s race.”

The three Pollie Awards are the second major honor bestowed upon Thomas Mills Communications this year. In January, Thomas Mills Communications was named a finalist in Politics Magazine’s Reed Awards, one of the political industry’s leading publications.
